Whether your facility is a commercial style climbing gym, an outdoor education centre or a training venue, working together we can help create a climbing wall tailored to your requirements. From previously constructed walls we have now developed a modulated system that will suit any location (indoors or outdoors), and any style (flat wall, articulated or the inclusion of an abseiling platforms). Whether your project is designing and building a climbing wall from scratch or modifications to an existing site, we use our knowledge and in-depth experience of our team to create fresh and interesting designs.
As the sport of rock climbing becomes more popular many walls are being incorporated into the planning stage of new projects. If this is the case, it is important to design the climbing wall to suit the structure that is being built. Alternatively if you have an existing building in which you would like to install a climbing wall and you need guidance and costings we can help with that as well.
As per the Australian Activity Standards (AAS) all climbing walls are required to have a safety audit every 12 months, not only for insurance purposes but also for your own peace of mind. At a flat rate, plus travel expenses ( at cost ) Adventure Out Australia will visit your climbing wall and comprehensively audit your wall for safety and structural issues. Recommendations will be made and a report will be issued upon completion of any work that may be required. Please note we do not load test aspects of your climbing wall but purely conduct a visual inspection for signs of degradation or damage. We will also consult on the latest standards and ensure your climbing wall and running gear and equipment meets the minimum standards
Adventure Out Australia can also supply all your climbing hardware from harnesses to holds, mats, karabiners, shoes and ropes to name a few. Safety is the number one priority with all our climbing wall constructions and if you require the safety equipment that is necessary to achieve this, we can supply the gear at very competitive rates.
Adventure Out Australia can come back and train your team in all aspects that they would need to know to run your newly built structure. It is important that your team know what they are doing and have the appropriate training. At the conclusion of your training a certificate of participation will be issued. If your team require nationally accredited training; we can also assist with this or point you in the right direction.
