In Mid 2010, Adventure Out was approached by Santa Maria College to proivde a quote for the construction of a new indoor climbing wall to be located in the newly refurbished gymnasium at the College.

After a successful tender process, our bid was accepted and the planning for the wall began. With the help of our engineers, a design was finalised and the process of building a climbing wall began.

In December 2010 the team from Adventure Out began construction of the new wall. Although there were a few hiccups along the wall is now complete and it is the star attraction in the new gymnasium and the girls can’t get enough of it.

Once again Adventure Out & Coates Wildlife Tours sent the kids from Singapore American School into the wilderness of the Western Australian bush.

The kids experienced camping in the bush, paddling on the beautiful Blackwood River, abseiling at the Wilyabrup Sea Cliffs and caving at Calgardup & Brides Caves.

Urban Descent helped raise $240,000 for Homeless Kids in Sydney through abseiling approx 100 people off the iconic 26 floor AMP building (Sydney’s first skyscraper) on Friday the 22nd October 2010.

It was a beautiful, sunny day with the world’s best views, we had lots of fun, putting the most generous and courageous people over the edge for charity!

With many getting into the spirit of the day and dressed up as their favourite comic hero — what a sight for Sydney-siders and visitors alike!

Perth Urban Descent

Saturday 9th April 2011 at the WACA Ground in Perth, Adventure Out was proud to be involved in the Urban Descent charity abseil event raising vital funds for the PMH Foundation.

With over 60 people taking part and the stunning Perth weather, the event was a huge success and we can’t wait to be involved next year.

Last year the Perth Urban Descent raised $180,000. People from all walks of life channel the thrill seeker within and abseiled, flying foxed or traversed the WACA light towers, all to raise money for vital equipment at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.

In 2011, join us on the 9th of April at the WACA Grounds in Perth to once again raise some much needed money for the PMH Hospital and also release your inner thrill seeker.
