Team Development

This program focuses on teaching people about the basics of being part of a team. The day is split into two halves. The morning session involves a range of challenges and problems. Each group has an experienced team development consultant who will debrief the learning derived from each of the activities. The afternoon session is a team challenge on a macro scale, building on the learning from the morning session. The challenge all depends on the venue you choose for the day as we make use of the environment. See below for further descriptions about what's on offer.

Possible venues

• Point Walter Reserve (Bicton) for raft building, flying fox & abseil your way across Black Wall Reach OR orienteer your way around Point Walter Reserve surroundings.
• Fred Park (Mundaring) for Bush navigation with compass and map in the Mundaring National Park.
• Moondyne Convention Centre. (Avon Valley National Park) We have a number of options here including bush navigation with a compass and map in the Avon Valley National Park, a raft building challenge on the farm dam or a flying fox and abseil out of a tree.
• Burswood Park (Burswood) for raft building and journey across to Heirisson Island. Navigate your way around the island to search for important information.
• Rottnest Island for an orienteering rally on bikes around the island.
• Yanchep National Park. An urban orienteering course with raft building at certain times of the year.
• Other venues include The Vines Resort, Evedon Park (Collie) and Banksia Springs (Dwellingup). However, if you have another venue in mind please contact us about options.  

Adventure Out will supply:

• Program design and coordination
• Experienced consultant and technical support staff
• Supply of all specialised activity and safety equipment
• First Aid kits
• Access to all venues
• Morning tea
• A CD of photographs taken on the day
• $10 million public liability insurance

Options

• Bus pickup and drop off at your workplace
• Hot or cold lunch
• Fellowship (drinks and nibbles post program)

Half Day

This program is the first half of our one day program. It focuses on teaching people about the basics of being part of a team. It involves a range of challenges and problems.
