Swan River Canoe Journey

Escape to the Swan Valley for a corporate challenge on the Swan River. Take advantage of either our eight person inflatable rafts or two person inflatable canoes. Both provide a safe and enjoyable way for a shared experience with your colleagues. Along the way our facilitators will take you through a series of challenges for your team to carry out.

Possible venues

Available sections of river to paddle:

• Walyunga National Park to Bells Rapid. High up in the Avon Valley, experience the river with a few small rapids before the river becomes urban.
• Bells Rapid (an opportunity exists to run these rapids a few times (grade 2 rapids).
• Vine St (Middle Swan) to Middle Swan Road (Whiteman Bridge). The start of the Swan River, a tranquil setting where there is no rapids. This section can include a visit to Houghton Winery.
• Middle Swan Road (Whiteman Bridge) to Caversham House (Caversham Ave, Caversham) Another quiet, tranquil section. This section can include a visit to Sandalford Winery.
• West Swan Road Bridge (Lilac Hill) to Point Reserve (North Road, Bassendean).

Adventure Out will supply:

• All specialised activity equipment and safety gear for the day
• Qualified staff and technical support personnel
• First Aid kits
• Staff transport and safety response vehicles as required
• Access to venues
• Morning and/or afternoon tea
• A CD of photos taken during the day
• $10 million public liability insurance

Options

• Bus pickup and drop off at your workplace
• Hot or cold lunch (picnic style)
• Lunch at one of the wineries
• Fellowship (drinks and nibbles post program)
