Adventure Out

Education Adventures

An extremely important facet of Adventure Out is our Education Adventures designed for schools. The aim is to provide our future leaders with the opportunity to develop different skills in an outdoor environment while providing a focus on such things as team work, problem solving, communication skills and most importantly, having fun.

Why Adventure Out Australia?
Adventure Out has a long history of positive involvement with both government and independent schools. Adventures are based on the outdoor experience and incorporate team-building as well as WA Curriculum materials.

Adventure Out instructors specialize in interaction and working with students. They impart technical skills in specific outdoor activities and equip students with coping strategies to build self confidence.

Our school programs offer practical hands-on sessions to promote awareness and respect for the natural environment and skills for the particular task. The activities are structured to encourage students to accept greater responsibility for their actions while developing problem solving, team work, leadership and communication strategies.

Adventure Out co-ordinates programs throughout Western Australia. Single day programs are generally conducted within the metropolitan area and multi-day programs are often conducted further afield - from the Kimberley in the north of the state to the south coast and lower south-west region. Interstate and international programs are also an option. Adventure Out has been running international school programs for over 6 years!

We have a diverse range of instructors and facilitators within our team. Their skills come from a wide background including long-term involvement in outdoor activities, military service, the education system and formal training and accreditation through recognised courses.
